Welcome to bottomlesskitchen.com!

So here we are, two twenty-something's, living in Boston, working full-time, and now blogging. We decided to make this cooking blog for a few reasons. Besides the obvious, that we love to cook (eat), we wanted to find a way to share recipes, prep tips, and our opinions regarding food. Ultimately, we hope to inspire more real cooking and the consumption of good food!


For a lot of people, cooking seems to be one of those things where there are always good intentions (kind of like before-work morning gym sessions for elz). But then, one thing leads to another, and it's take-out, leftovers, frozen meals, or fast food for dinner again.

We want to show our friends, family, and loyal followers-to-be that fast, easy, fresh, healthy meals can be created, any night of the week, with minimal effort that won't have you cleaning until midnight. When possible we strice for meals that are economical, allow for leftovers, and actually taste...well, pretty damn good.

It's all about finding out the way that you like to approach cooking. Do you like to plan in advance, sit down on the weekend and map out your meals for the week? Or, do you like to impulsively pick ingredients at the market the day of, and then decided on a recipe when you get home? Or a little bit of both? The idea of our website is to be able to read about some recipes that may not typically catch your eye in your cookbook that has "Over 1,000 recipes".
Our site is fully searchable, and organized so you can scroll through our daily posts, view just our recipes, view just our informational 101's, or even shop our favorite products.

Our motivation is simple: we cook for ourselves anyway...so why not share it with you on the chance that we came across something you may enjoy making yourself, for your friends & family?  So here's to good times, good friends...and good food.
